(Battle 1 starts at 2:37). A run with Evice´s team, the final boss of Pokémon Colosseum. He is the mightiest of the mightiest among Cipher but did he really build a competitive team? Let´s see! I know it´s a bit long, you can watch it in two or three sits :)
READ BELOW FOR TEAM DETAILS AND COMMENTS:
*All moves are the same as in Evice´s team. I just added different items to every Pokémon and suitable movesets.
Slowking @ Quick Claw
Ability: Oblivious
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 4 SpA / 32 SpD
Relaxed Nature
Shadow Ball
Psychic
Water Pulse
Skill Swap
Nice Specially Defensive wall for the final battle. Bulky Pokémon, can get Truant off Slaking and surprise opponents with Quick Claw.
Scizor @ Lum Berry
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 180 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 72 Spe
Adamant Nature
Metal Claw
Silver Wind
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
Slow but powerful Poké. You can switch Lum Berry for Silver Powder maybe, as it can´t get Toxic´ed and Will-O-Wisp is rare in Gen 3. Silver Wind + Swarm can OHKO frail Pokémon even with neutral damage. +1 Silver Wind boosts lets it outspeed base 95 max Speed Adamant or Modest Pokés such as Kingdra.
Machamp @ Black Belt
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
Cross Chop
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Bulk Up
Very versatile physical attacker. Its moveset covers many type weaknesses. Sadly, only Salamence is immune to Earthquake (sad that no Poké is running Protect). Rock Slide coverage helps a lot. Just if it could OHKO Slaking with Cross Chop...
Salamence @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
Dragon Dance
Double-Edge
Aerial Ace
Dragon Claw
For some reason, I´m running it Naive but Dragon Claw is not viable with Latias/os, as they have huge SpDef thanks to Soul Dew. Setting up is easier with Intimidate, and when you do so, not even Ninjask can outspeed you!
Tyranitar @ White Herb
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 72 Def / 4 SpA / 180 SpD
Sassy Nature
Crunch
Thunder
Rock Slide
Blizzard
Horrible set. You´ll only use Crunch or Rock Slide. I didn´t want to make 0 damage with Crunch so I made it Sassy. You don´t need speed with it. Quite the contrary, you should be slower than weather summoners (Groudon and Kyogre) to be the last one summoning and countering their weather. It did an excellent job in the last, crucial battle.
Slaking @ Leftovers
Ability: Truant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
Crush Claw
Aerial Ace
Earthquake
Bulk Up
Too much Slowking-dependent (unless it had Hyper Beam). I lost the first 4th Round as I couldn´t manage the momentum. Probably setting up with Slaking would´ve been much better.
