I’ve returned with the first part of my south korea travel vlog series - Wando County

Wando County is not a mainstream tourist attraction yet but it’s worth visiting if you enjoy abalone, seaview, rural kind of vibes

This is th first part to my wando vlog, in the second part I’ll share with you the attractions I went in Wando

Actor Wi Ha Jun was from this county and his hometown is on an island called Soando (You’ll see alot of Korea flags lined up on the island)

Itinerary: (Wando)

🚍 : Gwangju to Wando (2hours)
🏠: Wandonesia

Took the public bus from Wando Bus Terminal to Hwahong Port

Purchased the ferry tickets from the ticket counter directly

Took the ferry to Soando

🚶‍♀️from the Soando Port to 新新园 Chinese Restaurant
🚶‍♀️from the restaurant to Soan Independence Memorial Hall

** its a nice place to trek and a better place to drive around or bike around but there’s nothing much on the island soando except nature and sea


After we returned to Wando, we went to try the abalone bread

🚶‍♀️Wando Tower (you can take a monorail up to the top but we missed the last ride & due to the construction works, we can’t walk up too)

🚕 (we used kakaotaxi) to get to Wando Abalone Street

After dinner, we walked back to our guesthouse
