The most common Blossie Basket question I get is: “My Blossie is floppy, how do I make it more rigid?”
My answer: Blossie was designed to be a soft vessel. It is meant to expand when you pop items inside, and it stacks beautifully because of that wide base.
That said, make your Blossie to suit your sewing style, please do not be sad about a floppy Blossie, it is not a failure. 🥰🫶 Using a single-sided fusible batting and adding hand quilted stitches do help adding structure.
P.S. I am using @S@SOHMOo To scissors here and they are my favourite for cutting out Blossie. They glide through fabric fused with batting. Sohmo has generously gifted goodies for the sew-along giveaway, including a pair of Go To scissors.
