John Mascarenhas, MD, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY, highlights some of the top updates and abstracts presented in the myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) field at the ASH 2024 meeting. Dr Mascarenhas outlines some advancements and the emerging therapeutic approaches being investigated, such as novel JAK inhibitors, MDM2 inhibitors, and selinexor combination therapy. He also highlights encouraging updates from the follow-up of the MANIFEST-2 trial, which demonstrated durability of spleen response and symptom response.
