Rose milk cake is the most trending cake with freshness of Rose flavor and a syrup which is made of three kinds of milk (tres leches). Rose milk tres leches cake is very light and fluffy cake, topped with a cloud of whipped cream enriched with pistachios and Rose petals. Please find the recipe below:
Ingredients:
• All Purpose Flour - 1 cup + 1/4 cup (155 gms)
• Baking Powder - 1 tsp
• Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
• Butter (at room Temperature) - 1/4 cup (60 gms)
• Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
• Apple cidar Vinegar - 1 tsp
• Milk - 1/2 cup (125 ml)
• Rose Syrup/ Rooh afza - 2 tbsp
• A pinch of salt (omit if using salted butter)
Rose syrup for Soaking:
• Milk - 1/2 cup
• Condensed Milk - 1/2 cup
• Fresh Cream - 1/2 cup
• Rose Syrup - 1 tbsp
For Frosting:
• Whipping Cream - 1/2 cup
• Pistachios
• Rose petals
Recipe:
1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Lightly grease the cake tin and line it with parchment paper.
2. Prepare buttermilk by adding vinegar to milk. Keep it aside till milk curdles.
3. In a bowl mix butter and powdered sugar, till it becomes creamy.
4. Combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and sieve into butter sugar mix and add curdled milk into it.
5. Add 1-2 tbsp rose syrup to cake batter mix and mix it nicely and prepare ribbon consistency cake batter.
6. Pour cake batter into prepared cake tin and bake it at 170 degrees for 30 mins.
7. Remove cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
8. Once cool down transfer it into the desired serving dish.
9. Prepare syrup (for soaking) by combining milk, condensed milk, fresh cream and 1 spoon rose syrup.
10. Now prick cake with toothpick or fork and pour prepared syrup all over the cake especially around the edges. Reserve a little syrup to pour on a cake while serving.
11. Cover the soaked cake with cling wrap and keep in the fridge for 30 mins.
12. Whip the whipping cream / heavy cream till stiff peaks.
13. Pipe and top the cake with whipped cream. Garnish with Sliced Pistachios and Rose petals.
14. Serve a piece of rose milk cake with some chilled rose syrup and Enjoy!!!
