After posting my entire setup in my previous video, user i Cryostorm suggested that instead of using my carabiner-marlinspike hitch combination to attach the hammock to the tree straps, that the becket hitch was superior.
So I decided to test that hypothesis.

Note that this is with my current hammock setup. Different cordage and different types of hammocks will have different needs. Your results may vary.
And if you notice the noise in the background, I just ran to our local park to test this, which is right next door to the city's outdoor swimming pool. The camera picked up more noise than I was expecting.
