Chasing The Dream: Goalkeeper Academy Fast Shot Drills

Описание: This training session was all about successive shots! Which means every shot comes one after another not allowing the keeper any time to harp on a goal or mistake. I love drills like this!! not only does it force the keeper to do well or crash and burn but it also helps mental fortitude.

As goalkeepers we will be scored on several times, in practice and even more over our careers some keepers never get over their mistakes and that takes their focus off the next shot and next save. A fast shooting drill focuses on the then and now and you will see even after I make a mistake I respond by making a save a second later.

Finally I have begun to notice a distinct improvement on the issues I have been pointing out. I'm definitely nowhere near where I want to be yet, but the positive point is that I'm going towards it and now I can see that I am pushing towards the level I want to be at. Everyday is a chance to improve and if you improve just a little it's progress.
