When Blytheville PD engaged a white Dodge Challenger in a high-speed pursuit, Arkansas State Police Trooper Chris Dunham moved to intercept. With a known fugitive reportedly in the passenger seat, this wasn’t just any chase—it was a coordinated manhunt.

Trooper Dunham joined the pursuit near Interstate 55, where the Challenger flew past him at over 80 MPH. As the vehicle cut onto US Highway 61, speeds shot up to 150 MPH, with the driver weaving through traffic and passing cars on the shoulder.

Even as the Challenger blasted west onto Highway 158, topping 160 MPH, Dunham stayed close—until construction and distance forced him to break off after five intense miles.

What followed was a statewide effort. Though the suspect vehicle was later spotted, officers were unable to reengage. But the story didn’t end there.
