Описание: North Eoligarry Beach (aka Barra Sands or Eolaigearraidh Beach) is a beautiful sand beach located on the north side of the Eoligarry Peninsula on the Isle of Barra. It makes a huge impression in all weather thanks to the stark contrast between the emerald colour of water and flour-white sand. It is one of the biggest and most impressive beaches on the Isle of Barra with around 2 km (1.2 mi) in length. There are no restrictions to access it or to swimming there in comparison to nearby Traigh Mhòr which is inaccessible because it is an airport strip or Traigh Eais where swimming is not advisable due to the very strong currents. There are few campsites near this beach, but be aware that the best access to the beachfront is through the little pier at the southern end of the beach.
