PART I - Teardown. Rebuild.
Goal: To extract from the worn remnants of a rusted heap, a Show Quality Daily Driver - A complete and functional, high-performance motorcycle that has been cleaned and refreshed right down to every last bolt, screw, washer, oring, seal, diaphragm, hose, line, piece, part, component, and whatnot, to the effect that it could potentially be competitive in motorcycle Shows.
This project spanned 437 days and my timecard shows 310.0 hours logged to it.
Clearly, I don't work fast, and recording as well is about twice as slow.
But, at least it's done at half the speed! ahem.
Engine internals were measured and calculated to be in good health, so only exterior maintenance was performed.
Starter, at first, would intermittently not engage. Most of the time it would act like no problem, but occasionally, and without cause, the starter would simply fail. This is why the starter was removed and disassembled, to clean the brush contact area of carbon dust buildup. After the starter rebuild, it has so far performed as expected with 100% success rate(detailed video to release later).
HORNS! They're crazy loud. Super clear tones, super loud, and wow. It's really no kidding. Wiring the horns correctly with the relay is crucial for the sound. Factory harness wiring will basically never feed a horn with enough Power to make it Really WORK - So make sure to get the wiring kit.

All the silly graphics were created using Microsoft Co-Pilot(DALL-E 3) using questionably sourced descriptive inputs, then modified in rudimentary ways(as if that wasn't obvious).
