This YouTube video gives you a visual guide of a step by step tutorial on how to make your own white concrete bowls. Being able to make your own products is so satisfying and these are really quick and easy to make. They are beautiful interior design ideas that can be used as a plant pot, candle holder, fruit bowl or any other home decor item. You can also make them an outdoor feature. White concrete creates a stylish and modern raw finish so this is my favourite.

This idea came to me when I had left over self levelling concrete after screeding a floor in a house I was renovating and I didn’t want it to go to waste. Inspired by restoration hardware bowls I made a stone bowl and then decided to get creative and experiment further. You can try out different textures, colours or shapes and even add a touch of bling with glitter! I hope I can inspire you to give it a go yourself!

Here is what you need:

Cement: I use Snowcrete which is white. You can pick this up in your local DIY shop / builder’s merchant or get it delivered from Amazon:

Mouldmaster 20Kg SNOWCRETE White Cement https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073VT1TV... (it comes in 20kg but you can make about 20 bowls with this!)

Sand
Water
Bucket
Oil
Plastic bowls (or other shaped moulds)
Mixer spoon or tool
Small weights eg marbles or rocks
Sandpaper

If you wish you can also add:
Stones
Cement dye
Glitter
