Crew Expendable is the second mission in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and its remastered version. Set aboard a cargo ship in the Bering Strait during a violent storm, the mission follows SAS operatives Sergeant John "Soap" MacTavish and Captain Price as they infiltrate the freighter Väljakutse to recover a suspected nuclear device. The team stealthily moves through the ship, clearing out hostile crew members and making their way to the cargo hold. After locating the device and retrieving a shipping manifest, the mission takes a dramatic turn when the ship is attacked by enemy aircraft. With the vessel rapidly sinking, Soap must escape through flooding corridors and collapsing structures to reach the extraction helicopter just in time. The mission is a fast-paced, cinematic experience that introduces players to the tactical and narrative intensity of the game’s campaign.
