The holidays are here again, and that means it's time for...fruitcake. I hope that doesn't make folks run away screaming...especially since tonight on Cast Iron Wednesday, we'll be making a fruit cake that people will actually want to eat! I've made this fruitcake recipe before on YouTube, and it's a practically can't-fail recipe that produces a heavy, moist, spicy fruitcake that's non-alcoholic and can be enjoyed by the whole family, or even taken in to work or school. And so tonight, we'll be taking out the Griswold lamb mold once again and preparing fruitcake on YouTube Live. What could possibly go wrong? Folks in our YouTube Live chat room are encouraged to have fun and talk about cast iron, because that's what we do on this channel.
