We are trying fish and chips, haddock fishcake, cheese savoury and of course the gravy the curry and the mushy peas.
We have been to many chippy's in Liverpool over my lifetime and none have stood out, so I was holding my breath for Byrnes Chippy, would it deliver where many had failed, we hoped so, see how we get on in this vlog.
Byrnes is a 4th generation family business and has two establishments in the city, the one which we visited today was Muirhead Avenue East and the other is situated in Stuart road Liverpool L4.
