Panmen Scenic Area is located at the southwestern corner of Suzhou’s ancient city in Jiangsu Province, China.
It is one of the rare surviving city gates in China where land and water gates exist side by side.
Ancient walls, bridges, and pagodas stand together,
while the moat flows quietly below.
This place reflects over two thousand years of urban planning and defensive wisdom,
revealing the enduring historical foundation of Suzhou.
