Tascam Porta Two Ministudio - Play function issues pt.1

Описание: This video is a response to a good friend you tube member: 'glasstronic.' Seeking some more guidance and thought as to what also may be causing this problem with the tape machine.

Trying to figure out this tape transport problem. The play function will not engage, the transport acts as though it's the end of tape and auto shut off engages. I have disassembled the flywheel and bracket, also the solenoid and bracket, cleaned, applied molykote, replaced the belts, checked out the take up reel and disassembled it as well, the play arm, the auto arm, the auto gear, arm sensor, let me say that during inspection I noticed debris in between the play idler and the auto gear. I also checked out underneath the flywheel at gear "A&B." Didn't seem to notice anything stuck or exhibiting resistance. Looking for any help. Meanwhile when I feel up to it again (always eager), I will probably disassemble it all over again and back track.
