This method is not quite as simple as the method where you position yourself on top of the grate and relog to activate the lever underneath, but it does maintain the integrity of the room so as not to permanently leave the gate open. Thanks to 『Asphixiem』 in the comments section for pointing this out.
Although I found this specific exploit out on my own, I am NOT the first person to have found it. There are some other sources that have found this before me, those being:
• (world first!?) narukami shrine secret cav... on July 25th
• secret cave in inazuma on July 27th
If there are more who have found this way to wiggle in before this video was uploaded, feel free to mention them and I will add them to this list.
