দুরারোগ্য রোগে ভুগছেন এমন কাউকে দেওয়া হবে না হজে যাওয়ার অনুমতি। যেতে হলে প্রতিটি যাত্রীর সম্পূর্ণ স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা বাধ্যতামূলক। প্রমাণ দিতে হবে, যাত্রী শারীরিকভাবে সুস্থ এবং হজ পালনে উপযুক্ত। ১০ নভেম্বর ধর্ম বিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয়ের এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়। বলা হয়, হজযাত্রী পাঠানো দেশগুলোর কাছে এই সংক্রান্ত চিঠি পাঠিয়েছে সৌদি হজ ও ওমরাহ মন্ত্রণালয়।
