Amit Shah Applies NRC all Over India

Описание: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has told the Rajya Sabha that the National Register of Citizens Law (NRC) will be applied all over India. What is the NRC? The NRC was specially made for the state of [Box 04 Assam. It is a list created by the government that contains names & all the information proving that they are Indian citizens.

The NRC aims to identify illegal immigrants -- from Bangladesh -- who entered Assam and to send them back. There are 19 lakh valid Indian citizens in Assam but due to this law, they are not being given citizenship. He informed the Rajya Sabha that no person, no matter what religion they followed, need to be afraid.In Assam, people whose names are not in the NRC can local government authorities and file a request to investigate the matter.

The Assam government will provide financial help to those who don't have the money to file a case and Amit Shah said the government would pay for the lawyer.Amit Shah said that the NRC law help to remove people who have illegally entered India.
