A Sevilla factory produced the original hand painted tiles that were used to build the plaza. The theme of the plaza was the stories of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. Ceramica Artistica Sevillana Antonio Gonzalez has located the original stencils that were used to paint the tiles in the 1920s. This is a short clip summarizing this find and the first stages of a restoration project. I hope you enjoy it and I hope we get to see the plaza restored! It would be a wonderful work of art!
