Описание: BSP chief and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party, alleging that its rule in the state was marked by the dominance of goons, mafias and criminals. Addressing party workers, Mayawati claimed that law and order had collapsed during the SP regime and that Dalits were the worst affected by the situation.

She accused the Samajwadi Party of failing to protect the interests and dignity of Dalits, stating that incidents of exploitation and injustice had increased during its tenure. Emphasising BSP’s core ideology, Mayawati said her party has always worked to ensure social justice, security and constitutional rights for marginalised communities.

The remarks come amid heightened political activity in Uttar Pradesh, with parties stepping up attacks as they seek to consolidate their support base ahead of upcoming elections. Mayawati’s statement is being seen as an attempt to reassert BSP’s Dalit-centric agenda and draw a sharp contrast with rival parties, especially the Samajwadi Party.
