Reason #1 – You're The Crazy Ex
The first thing is you being the crazy ex, now what do I mean by that?

Well, one of the reasons your ex may not be wanting to respond to you is the fact that they view you as crazy or emotionally unstable.

So, look back at your behavior with your ex and see if you dug yourself into this kind of a hole where you have appeared so emotionally unstable which makes you be viewed as the crazy ex. That can actually explain one of the reasons for why your ex isn’t responding when you reach out to them.

Reason #2 – You Only Talk About Things You Are Interested In
It is a fact that everyone is self-interested meaning we don’t want to hear about what you’re interested in we only want to hear about what we are interested in. So, when you’re reaching out to your ex and talking about what you are interested in, they will lose interest in having conversations with you.

Reason #3 – You Don’t Have A Good Hook
What is a Hook?

A way to insight enough curiosity to get his attention. So, a hook needs to contain two things, curiosity and self-interest. When I first started ex-boyfriend recovery and ex-girlfriend recovery, I believed that all you needed to do when you text them to get you to respond to you is create enough curiosity make the text so interesting that they have no choice but to respond to it.

I no longer believe that is the case, the perfect first contact text message or a perfect hook if you will, is going to combine curiosity with self-interest.

Reason #4 – You Failed To Build Up Enough Excitement
As time goes on satisfaction goes up and down through a conversation. The peak of a conversation is where it’s at its best. The problem is you’re not giving your ex enough time to be excited about speaking to you. Instead of ending conversations at the peak we drag it out, but the time the conversation is ended its no longer at the peak. So, your ex is satisfied but not left wanting more.

Ending the conversation at the peak, will leave your ex wanting to speak to you more, wanting that feeling more. He’s going to look forward to speaking to you if you end conversations at the peak

There is also having conversations without excitement at all, you need to keep your ex engaged and invest more in the conversation.
