In Branson West, Missouri lies the Indian Ridge Resort. Back in 2006, Three people from Colorado invested into a $1.6 Billion Dollar Project in the Branson West area.
However, this turned out to be one of the biggest Real Estate Fraud Schemes ever. It turned town that both David Drake and his business partners Donald Snider and his ex wife Heather Gibbs lied to get bank loans for the Real Estate Project.
This bank fraud ended up sending both men to prison and Gibbs getting probation for having knowledge about the fraud and not informing the authorities.
This $1.6 Billion Dollar project was gonna include a subdivision of vacation homes, a 300 room hotel, A marina, the second largest Indoor waterpark in America, a Native American History Museum, and a golf course.
