Is Paneer Capsicum Masala Sabzi ko aap paratha, roti ya rice ke saath serve kar sakte hain.
Masalon ka exact measurement description ke neeche diya gaya hai taaki aap same taste recreate kar sakein.
🧂 Ingredients (Exact Measurements)
🔹 Main Ingredients:
Paneer – 250 grams (1 inch cubes)
Capsicum – 1 medium (1 inch pieces)
Onion – 4 small (3 sliced + 1 for paste)
Tomato – 4 medium (paste)
Green chilli – 4 (chopped)
🔹 Marinade:
Curd (Dahi) – 2 tbsp
Sattu powder – 2 tbsp
Ginger-garlic-chilli paste – 2 tbsp
Haldi – ½ tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder – 2 tsp
Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
Dhaniya powder – 1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Kasuri methi – 1 tsp (crushed)
Salt – 1 tsp (or to taste)
🔹 For Gravy:
Oil – 2 tbsp (1 + 1 separate pans)
Hing – 1 pinch
Haldi – ¼ tsp
Ginger-garlic-chilli paste – 1 tsp (extra for gravy)
Water – ½ to ¾ cup (as needed)
👩🍳 Method
1️⃣ Marination
In a bowl add: Curd + sattu + all spices + salt + kasuri methi.
Mix well.
Add paneer cubes, capsicum, sliced onions & green chillies.
Coat everything nicely.
Rest for 1 hour (or refrigerate longer for better flavour).
2️⃣ Gravy Preparation
Grind 1 onion into smooth paste (no water).
Grind 4 tomatoes into paste separately.
Heat 1 tbsp oil.
Add hing + haldi.
Add ginger-garlic paste (10 sec).
Add onion paste + little salt.
Cook till oil slightly separates (no browning).
Add tomato paste.
Cook till masala thickens & oil separates.
Add: ½ tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
½ tsp dhaniya powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp chaat masala
Cook well (no raw smell).
Add ½ cup water to adjust consistency.
3️⃣ Cook Paneer
In another pan heat 1 tbsp oil.
Add hing.
Add marinated paneer mixture.
Cook on low flame 5–6 minutes, stirring gently.
4️⃣ Final Mix
Add paneer mixture into prepared gravy.
Mix well.
Cover & cook 5–7 minutes on low flame.
Garnish with fresh coriander.
🍽 Serving Suggestion
Serve hot with:
Lachha paratha
Butter roti
Jeera rice
💡 Texture Tip: Low flame cooking is key for creamy consistency without cream.
