Top Story: AGAP Party-list Rep. Nicanor Briones joined a hearing of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure on Monday (December 15), months after he was tagged by government contractors Sarah and Curlee Discaya in alleged irregularities in flood-control projects.
Briones' lawyer Winston Ginez sought an executive session with the ICI to "protect the confidential and highly sensitive information" that the lawmaker would divulge.
Briones refused to answer questions from the media after the hearing, but his lawyer said the lawmaker rejected “all unfair and unfounded accusations against him” by the Discaya couple.
