This core exercise also works everything from your hips, down. It basically combines the motion of a squat with a weighted oblique twist.
1. Stand with feet slightly more than shoulder-width apart, holding a kettlebell in both hands, each hand grasping one side of its handle, palms facing in.
2. Extend arms so kettlebell is to outside of right hip.
3. Squat, and then swing kettlebell up and across body in a diagonal, arcing motion, as you stand back up, finishing movement with kettlebell over and to left of left shoulder, arms fully extended.
4. Immediately squat back down, swinging kettlebell to outside of right hip.
