How to Enable AMD FSR on Linux for More FPS

Описание: In this video, I show you how to enable AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) on Linux for games launched through Steam using Proton-GE and Lutris using Wine-GE.

What Is AMD FSR?

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) is an open-source upscaling technology developed by AMD.

Step 1 — Enable FSR for Steam Games (Proton-GE)

Download Proton-GE:

Extract the archive.

Enable hidden files in your file manager and navigate to:

```

Paste the extracted Proton-GE folder inside.

Now:
• Open Steam
• Right-click your game
• Open:
Properties

Under Launch Options enter:

```

FSR is now enabled for the game.

Step 2 — Enable FSR for Lutris Games (Wine-GE)

Download Wine-GE:

Extract the archive.

Navigate to:

~/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine
```

Paste the extracted Wine-GE folder inside.

Now:
• Open Lutris
• Right-click the game
• Select:
Configure

Under:
• Runner Options

select your Wine-GE version.

Next:
• Open:
System Options

• Scroll to:
Environment Variables

Add:

Key: WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR
Value: 1
```

Save the configuration.

FSR is now enabled for the game.
