Putting shoes on feet with the Put Foot Rally 2017

Описание: I recently got to join the Put Foot Rally team on their Zambian leg of the tour to visit rural schools and give away much needed shoes to the kids of Zambia.

The Put Foot Rally created the Put Foot Foundation to give back every year while traveling around Africa & I was lucky enough to be invited to come with them as they deliver shoes to underprivileged kids across South Africa, Namibia & Zambia.

The shoes have an amazing story too as they have been engineered to grow with the kids feet and can last up to 5 years.

Those who can afford it, take shoes for granted... but these kids don't have that choice and too see the joy they get from a simple act of kindness is to good not to share.

Along the way I met Audrey, an 8 year old who had never owned a new pair of shoes. Every single piece of clothing she had ever worn was a hand-me-down or second-hand donation that had been given to her.

I got to give Audrey her first pair of new shoes ever.

She couldn't contain herself. Fighting back the tears she smiled and told me that one day she would make enough money to give underprivileged kids, the things that she hasn't been able to afford in her life.

I gave away a pair of shoes with the Put Foot Foundation and I think it changed my life.
