This work is constructed as a silent act of remembrance.
Centered around archival material of Ingo Schwichtenberg (1965–1995), the video does not attempt to narrate his life or explain his absence. It assembles fragments—private moments, public performances, gestures, risks, faith—without hierarchy or chronology. What emerges is not a biography, but a presence felt through discontinuity.
The inclusion of David Suchet’s readings from Psalm 19 and Psalm 23 does not function as commentary or consolation. These texts enter as parallel voices—ancient language placed beside modern loss. They neither interpret nor redeem what is shown; they remain suspended, like the images themselves.
Footage drawn from private archives, live performances, and historical recordings coexist without synthesis. Moments of intensity, devotion, joy, fear, and solitude are allowed to remain unresolved. The work refuses explanation in favor of proximity.
This video is shared with the explicit permission of the Schwichtenberg family. Their consent is not a formality, but a condition of care. The work does not claim ownership over memory; it holds it temporarily.
This is not a tribute in the celebratory sense.
It is an encounter with what remains when sound, faith, and mortality intersect.
