Описание: According to a report in Times Now, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has made a crucial admission in the Delhi Liquor Fraud case by asserting that bribes totaling Rs 100 crores were paid in the scam. According to the report, the ED said that a Rs 100 crore bribe was offered to public workers for securing the detention of Sharath Reddy and Benoy Babu in court on Thursday. “During the course of the investigation, various persons involved in the Delhi Excise Scam have revealed that a bribe of Rs 100 crore had been given in advance for undue benefits to select business groups by the Delhi Govt,” claimed the ED. Two significant arrests were made by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the money laundering inquiry into the now-discontinued Delhi Excise Policy case. Benoy Babu, the general manager of Pernod Ricard, and Sharath Reddy, the full-time director of Aurobindo Pharma, were both held by the agency in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
