A video walkthrough for Schumann's Symphony 3 "Rhenish". Follow the analysis or just enjoy the music. Schumann's 3rd was the final symphony he composed before his mental health decline (the 4th Symphony was a revised version of a symphony composed ten years earlier). The "Rhenish" Symphony is not a programatic composition depicting specific scenes of the Rhine River, but rather a musical impression of the Rhine.
