Ford has launched the much-awaited facelift of its Aspire compact sedan
at an introductory starting price of Rs 5.55 lakh. This price is about Rs 17,000 less than the outgoing model. The diesel 1.5-litre now starts from Rs 6.45 lakh, taking a price cut of nearly Rs 40,000.
With an updated grille, a redesigned bumper and larger 15-inch alloys, Ford has tried to equip the Aspire to take on stiff competition from the likes of the Dzire and the new Amaze.
On the inside, the biggest addition is a new 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment display borrowed from the Ford Freestyle, the system gets Ford’s SYNC3 interface which adds Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity, including Google Maps navigation as well.
The car is available in a total of 5 trims now along with a 1.5-litre petrol automatic powertrain as well.
