Cat Integration -- Final Stage
The cat integration was successful, though taking longer due to the older age of Ladybug and the semi-feral nature of Honey. From the first week, it was evident that sassy Ladybug wanted to get to know GB, but she couldn't let her guard down. So I was surprised to find the new lovebirds cuddling on top of the tree. I had expected their friendship to take more time to develop.
Honey has fully surrendered himself to GB, enjoying the grooming and seeking more affection. It's interesting to see that GB, who had previously been the one giving grooming to others, is now receiving it from Ladybug, marking a significant shift.
I'm proud of GB for being intuitive and sensitive, understanding the needs for space and time of other cats. I anticipate he will continue to take on a nanny role with older kittens, while Phoebe will lead with younger ones.
