Every year the students within the Aeronautical Engineering program at Linköping University is given a challenge to design, build and fly an aircraft. For the study year 17/18 the focus was on electric aviation and ultralight aircraft. The project, named NEMO, was introduced in a course on aircraft conceptual design, and followed the students through several subsequent aeronautical courses. The video is a compressed summary of the entire project and includes the maiden flight of the final 1:3 scale demonstrator built by the students. All together 28 master of science degree students were involved.
