You'll need Mediatek CDC drivers to get IMEI write tools like Maui or Modem Meta to detect your device in Meta Mode.
The driver used in this guide is unsigned, hence the need to manually install.
What you'll need -
Download CDC drivers @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-1664...
For Windows 8 and above, disable driver signature enforcement as explained at https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-752....
Note
Ignore the code 10 error. Its normal to get this for unsigned drivers --------------------------
