Meet Sgt. John Hayes Bey. In November 2023, what began as nothing more severe than a common cold turned into a fight for his life.
John began fighting multiple illnesses and his prognosis was extremely grim. This ultimately led to the amputation of both of his legs below the knees.
John is currently an Athlete in Class 34 at Adaptive Training Foundation where he is committed to become the best version of himself, as a husband, father, and as an amputee. @usaa invests in people like John because they know there is hope beyond life altering injuries.
