I skipped culinary school for the first time ever to fly to Portugal for my first NYC friend’s wedding! 🇵🇹💍 In just one weekend, I explored Lisbon and Sintra, tried local favorites like bifana sandwiches, peri peri chicken, and the famous Portuguese egg tarts (pastéis de nata), and soaked in the sights before flying straight back to New York City for work. ✈️
