Описание: This video will take you to Taishan in China where you can find a very big Fisherman‘s Wharf there. This place is well known for seafood because it is located along the coast of the sea. Many fish boats will dock there and there is a hugh market selling different kinds of seafood. The famous seafood there is Oysters. Taishan oysters are big and creamy. No matter it is fresh or dried, people is crazy with it. You can find many people there handling oysters taking out the oyster’s meat out from the shell. They export a lot to many places. It‘s cheap selling there too. Less than USD 1 per oyster. Poeple there seldom eat it raw, they usually steam it, fry it or stew. Some they use to make them dried under the sun. Those dried oysters are even more expensive. The size of the oysters can tell if they are expensive or not. They are called Golden Oyster. Usually, the Golden Oysters are semi-dried oysters. People like pan-fry them with honey. I bought quite a lot from there, you can refer to one of my videos with regard to making these golden oysters. Back to the market… other than fresh seafood, they sell a lot of dried seafood with different kind of fish, squid, cuttlefish, oyster etc etc… These type of dried seafood are a bit salty and people like serving them with rice when cooked. They can store a longer period of time than the fresh ones. Each time I go there, I will buy quite a lot too… and put in freezer! Around the seafood market, there are some restaurants can process the seafood you bought and cook for you. But of course, you can also buy and take home to cook by yourself. Hope you like this video….
