1. Cut a piece of fabric for the blouse body. The length of the fabric should be equal to the length of the blouse, plus 2 inches for seam allowance. The width of the fabric should be twice the width of the blouse, plus 2 inches for seam allowance.
2. Sew the shoulder seams of the blouse together.
3. Sew the side seams of the blouse together.
4. Turn the blouse right side out.
Press the seams flat.
5. Cut a piece of fabric for the neckline. The length of the fabric should be equal to the circumference of the neckline, plus 2 inches for seam allowance. The width of the fabric should be 1 inch.
7. Fold the fabric in half lengthwise, with wrong sides together.
8. Sew the long edge of the fabric together, using a 1/4-inch seam allowance.
9. Turn the neckline right side out.
10. Press the neckline flat.
11. Pin the neckline to the neckline of the blouse, with right sides together.
12. Sew the neckline to the blouse, using a 1/4-inch seam allowance.
13. Turn the blouse right side out.
14. Press the neckline flat.
15. Sew the hem of the blouse.
