Embroidering a Pigeon: The Grand Finale of My Bird Wall Quilt!

Описание: I've completed my garden bird embroideries!
The last piece to finish the project I began last year is finally here. Originally dubbed the Bird Book Project, it transformed into a beautiful wall quilt after a channel poll.
This week, I proudly hung the quilt in my sewing room, featuring the humble feral pigeon as its final touch.

My inspiration came from an artist named Lee on Instagram, who painted a pigeon while sharing the birds' history. Please use the link to his video to watch his beautiful painting process!

To display the quilt, I crafted a nature-inspired hanger using driftwood, paired with thrifted wool fabric and some wire from my shed. I had a such a good time creating this beautiful art project, and I hope you enjoy watching its completion!
