If you were to commit to memory 2 or 3 facts, statistics or stories from this book so you could have them at the ready when talking with others, what would they be? What is something that struck you and seems worthy of sharing?

What hesitations or trepidations have you had about the growth of solar? Do McKibben’s arguments mitigate feelings of unease? What for you may be sticking points about supporting a solar revolution?

How might we “force the march” of solar that McKibben says will happen inevitably but too slowly if left to its own devices?

We also asked folks to take the following actions:

Share this book with your community, by hosting your own book club, texting three or four of your friends with your favorite quote from the book, and/or
sending a copy to your legislator with note about why it resonated with you

Submit a Letter to the Editor in your local paper about what you learned from this book and why it’s so important
