In this video I explain the history and symbolism behind the clothes of the main characters of Demon Slayer. Thanks to a short run down through the Taisho period Japan, where this anime is set in, I explain the changes that happened at that time in the country and how that influenced fashion.

Basically I talk to you about the fashion history in Demon Slayer, what the author used from the era, what he changed and how he used the traditional patterns found on kimonos and their symbolism historically accurately to the point of making me cry. You can call me a nerd all you want!
