Just so you know. I have never pulled an engine before and I have never rebuilt one either. The videos below are how an inexperienced old guy dismantled a 560SL engine.

The order of events are exactly as they happened and not as you might attempt to disassemble a 560SL engine. When I started this video I was under the impression I would be replacing the rear cover plate and the oil pan gasket. See my video Removing The Rear Main Seal:
