Abstract
One of the common mistakes in treating posterior crossbite is the use of only brackets, without bite turbos and elastics to remove occlusal interference and correct functional shift in the initial stage of treatment. As such, treatment progress is slow and ineffective. In this case, bite turbos are delivered on the lower first molars at the bonding appointment to correct occlusal interference and functional shift. Class II inter-arch elastics are used simultaneously to restore the occlusal relationship into Class I. This is a simple but efficient method to correct posterior crossbite.

治療後牙錯咬的常見錯誤是在治療初期只黏上矯正器，沒有搭配bite turbo和橡皮筋來去除咬合干擾和改正功能性位移，導致治療成效緩慢。在這個錯咬的案例裡，第一次黏著矯正器的同次約診，即在下顎兩側第一大臼齒墊上bite turbo，以去除咬合干擾和功能性位移，最後再利用橡皮筋回復正常咬合關係，即可有效快速地治療錯咬的問題。
