A Visit to the Birthplace of Japan, Asuka and Fujiwara-kyo

This film brought you a little closer to Japan’s remote past, by showing you
what the landscape of long ago looked like in the picturesque town of Asuka,
Nara Prefecture and by visiting the historic sites nestled amongst the natural surroundings.
Hopefully, it stirred your imagination of ancient capitals
with the walk-about around the site of the Fujiwara Palace in Kashihara City,
yet another fabulous legacy in Japan that is seeking registration as a World Heritage.
