Dr. Haluk Lacin is an Assistant Professor in UMKC's Division of Biological and Biomedical Systems. Dr. Lacin's lab does cutting-edge research aimed at understanding how neuronal circuitry grows and develops throughout the maturation of an organism, using the fruit fly as a model. In this video, Dr. Lacin and his PhD student, Daniel Sytkowski, discuss their work and what it's like being a student in their lab.
