एसएसपी ने बताया कि इस वारदात के बाद जांच के लिए गठित टीम ने सीसीटीवी फुटेज और कॉल डिटेल रिकॉर्ड सहित तमाम सबूतों के आधार पर आरोपियों को ट्रेस कर लिया. उनकी लोकेशन कोलकाता में मिली, जिसके बाद स्थानीय पुलिस से संपर्क किया गया. इसके बाद कोलकाता पुलिस, एसटीएफ और बिहार पुलिस की संयुक्त टीम ने आरोपियों के ठिकानों पर छापा मारकर उनको गिरफ्तार कर लिया.इससे पहले पुलिस टीम ने दो अलग-अलग जगहों से दस संदिग्धों को पकड़ा है. शनिवार रात कोलकाता के आनंदपुर इलाके के एक गेस्ट हाउस से एक महिला समेत पांच लोगों को हिरासत में लिया गया. इससे कुछ घंटे पहले ही बिहार पुलिस और पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस की संयुक्त टीम ने न्यू टाउन इलाके से पांच लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया था. पकड़े गए एक संदिग्ध के पैर में चोट थी, जिसे इलाज के लिए एम्बुलेंस से ले जाया गया.



The SSP said that after this incident, the team formed for investigation traced the accused on the basis of all evidence including CCTV footage and call detail records. Their location was found in Kolkata, after which the local police was contacted. After this, a joint team of Kolkata Police, STF and Bihar Police raided the hideouts of the accused and arrested them. Earlier, the police team has arrested ten suspects from two different places. On Saturday night, five people including a woman were detained from a guest house in Anandpur area of Kolkata. Just a few hours before this, a joint team of Bihar Police and West Bengal Police had arrested five people from New Town area. One of the arrested suspects had an injury in his leg, who was taken by ambulance for treatment.
