A huge visual upgrade for the Tiny Barn in this episode! I’m installing a new gable end window into an old, blocked-up opening and replacing the existing garage doors with beautiful French doors overlooking the mountains.
Along the way, this video includes:
✔ Unblocking an original opening in the gable end
✔ Enlarging the existing doorway to suit the new doors
✔ A bargain scaffolding find — and some comedy trying to put it up 😅
✔ Rebuilding sections of the stone walls once the openings are formed
✔ Creating a beautiful slate window sill from a scrap piece of stone
It’s messy, challenging work, but the payoff is massive — natural light, proper access, and those views finally framed. This really starts to feel like a home now.
