Hundreds of people visited Hong Kong’s Wong Tai Sin Temple to mark the lunar New Year at a scaled down celebration, Friday, February 12.
People normally scuffle to be the first to place an incense stick, but that 99-year-old tradition was canceled this year.
Visitors had to wear masks and register their information with the government for contact tracing prior to entry.
Much of the Chinese New Year activities, such as firework displays, parades and temple ceremonies, have been abandoned due to the ongoing pandemic. (AP)
