Mohombi är ett känt namn på många håll i världen. Inte för att han tävlade i Melodifestivalen 2005, utan för sitt arbete från i början av 2010-talet, då han hade hits som ”Bumpy Ride” från festivalbekanta världsproducenten RedOne. År 2016 var han med och vann en amerikansk Grammy i kategorin ”Best Latin, Rock, Urban or Alternative Album” för sin medverkan på Pitbulls album ”Dale”.
